I have a 2 year old Savannah cat for adoption. I had adopted her when she was a kitten. I have moved to a house where I thought I could keep her, but I just can't. I can't put her through this stress anymore. Very sweet and sassy and a bit skiddish. She wants things on her terms. I care about her very much and want her to go to a good home. She is used to being around cats and dogs so it shouldn't be an issue. In fact, I think she would do better in a home where there was another pet. She is not fixed, but is current on her shots. I really hate to have to do this, but I can't keep her anymore. If anyone close to Tampa is interested, please comment.

(or part bengal, anyway)?

Mom thinks I am a bengal who got my fashion sense (white running shoes) from my dad's part of the family. I do LOVE water and I act a lot like a bengal is said to.

I just joined this community.  Here's a link to a video I made of my Bengal's one year birthday.  He's a big boy now.  I got him for free because my ex-boss breeds Bengals and her cat got pregnant with one kitten (him) and she let me have him.  He's a snow marble with blue eyes.  The other cat in the video is my Persian.

I've been researching more since I put up the picture of my kitten Otis on here.

About half of the people have said they think he's a just a tabby and about half the people think he looks like he could have some Bengal in him. As far as I've seen, there are Bengal Tabbies so I figure that's somewhat what he is then.

Here's just one of the websites that I found and a couple pictures from it.

I adopted a kitten at the Humane Society here in MI about two weeks ago. Even though they had black kittens (which is a color I was looking for) I ended up taking home a really friendly and energetic cat that I thought was a gray and black tabby. When I got him home I keep looking at him like, wow, he has the darkest stripes on his back. What was even more weird were the spots on his belly which I've never seen on a tabby before. I was looking through some of the papers they gave me when I got him and there was a picture of a bengal laying down and his belly looked exactly the same as my cat's. I looked up more about it online and he seems to look just like some of the pictures I've seen. I asked the vet when I took him in the other day but she wasn't really sure because they just kind of mark everything as DSH. On his paper it had said DSH- Brown Tiger but I hadn't thought about it at the time. So here's a picture of Otis laying down so you can see his belly and there are more in my journal.

So what do you guys think?

Hey guys,

I lost my wonderful cat almost two months ago now. I feel so lonely without her and I'm suddenly needing to have another cat to keep me company and to be my friend. Not that I want to replace Ashes but just to start something new, I know she wont mind.
Anyhow, I've been looking through many pictures the past few days and I ran across the Bengal Cat and I've absolutely FALLEN head over heals in LOVE with the looks of this cat and from their general personality!
I want one so badly! I'm heartbroken though that they cost so incredibly much. I'm a college student who really has very little money. I was going to go to the humane society and find myself a sweet cat but I feel suddenly attached to wanting a Bengal cat

Does anyone have a female kitten they'd be willing to sell me for $200? :) Ok I know that sounds horrid of me to ask.. but I'm desperate! I want one!
I love how you can take them out with you on walks, and they're really okay with moving around and traveling. They're not so attached to their one home. I love that about a cat. My cat was great with that, hell she even went on a trip with us to NYC (without us noticing her coming along until the 2nd day, she had snuck in our camper). Anyhow sorry I could go on for weeks about my wonderful cat.

But, does anyone have any advice for me if I'm looking for just a sweet, nice, fun Bengal cat without paying $500+ and I know $500 is cheap. I really want one!

Oh and please share your pictures of your Bengal cats. They're so beautiful.

Hello Helen! It's Julie. I've been meaning to ask you a question, but you haven't been online when I am soooo.....anywho. I've been moving A LOT and my bengel, Tyson, is loosing some hair around his tail. Is it nomal for Bengels, or any cats really, to loose skin when adjusting to a new environment, or do I need to take him to the vet. He seems to be getting a little better now that we're permenantly in a new house, but the hair isn't coming back. Thanks!~ Julie
